Retreat rates are based on single occupancy of the rooms. The rooms vary and are assigned in the order of bookings. We have 5 guest rooms available and 2 spacious and luxury bathrooms. This means that the guest rooms are for private use, though the bathrooms need to be shared.
The retreat is fully catered. Each morning a full continental breakfast is served with fresh bread, croissants, eggs, local cheeses and meats, fruits, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea. In the evening, a typical French 4-course dinner is served, consisting of a starter, main course, cheese and a dessert. Wine, water, coffee and tea will be served as well. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.
If you have any special dietary requests, please let us know in advance. One dinner and two lunches are planned outside the chateau, in restaurants.
Château des Mussets is a privately-owned chateau, where you will be received as a guest of our family. So, forgive us for mentioning that the chateau is a home, not a hotel. Rather like a guesthouse, we do not have staff to make up your bed every day. Therefore, we kindly ask you to keep the guest rooms and bathrooms as you would like to find them. We would very much appreciate if you would ‘muck in’ as the British say, by helping to clear the table after meals.
Photographs taken by us during the retreats are our property and therefore may be placed on our website or other promotional means. If you do not wish to be photographed during the retreat, please inform us before the retreat starts.
